Terms of use
These terms cover the Srchtune app and this website, both published by Srchout Software. Installing or using either means you accept them.

Your licence
Srchtune is free. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use it on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not sell it, rent it, sub-licence it, or charge anyone for access to it.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except to the extent the law of your country expressly permits despite this limitation.
Your music is yours — and so is the responsibility for it
What Srchtune is not
A player, not a download service, a streaming service or a file-sharing service. It does not obtain music, and provides no way to acquire any.
Srchtune plays audio files that are already on your device. You are responsible for having the right to possess and play the files you open with it, and for complying with the copyright law that applies to you.
The catalogue on this website
The singer, album and song information on this website is published for reference. It is compiled from public sources and may be incomplete or wrong; nothing here is a guarantee of accuracy. Artwork and names belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the works.
If you hold rights in material shown on this site and want it removed, write to support@srchtune.com with enough detail to identify it and we will act on it promptly.
Advertising
The app is paid for by advertising supplied through Google AdMob. Advertisements come from third parties; we do not endorse them and are not responsible for what they offer or link to. What advertising means for your data is set out in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app or this site to break the law, including copyright law.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to our servers or the catalogue API.
- Do not redistribute modified copies of the app, or distribute the app as your own.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue the app, the catalogue or any feature at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
Warranty and liability
The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, or that the catalogue is accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Srchout Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or this website, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
App stores
If you installed Srchtune from Google Play or the App Store, that store's own terms also apply to the download. The store is not a party to these terms, is not responsible for the app, and has no obligation to provide support for it — that is ours, on the support page.
